GATE Institute at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” is hosting the three-day NATO Allied Command Transformation (ACT) Innovation Continuum – SPARK Phase 2026 (IC26) from 24 to 26 February 2026 in Sofia.

On October 28, the GATE Institute took part in the Regional Defence Summit 2025, organized by Economedia and Kapital. The event brought together more than 500 participants — including representatives of the European Commission, defence ministries, leading industrial companies, innovators, research organizations, and investors — to discuss Europe’s strategic priorities in defence, technology, and innovation.

Borislav Bankov, who leads GATE’s participation in NATO’s Defense Innovation Agency DIANA, was the first speaker to take the stage at Tuk-Tam Kosher 2024 today at the Inter Expo Center.
