The Institute for Big Data for a Smart Society is seeking an experienced Project Software Applications Manager. The position entails full responsibility for the planning, organization, and successful implementation of the development of a web-based platform for Data Space.
We are looking for a leader who can balance strategic thinking with operational management—someone capable of motivating a team, communicating with various stakeholders from the project teams, and ensuring high-quality delivery while meeting deadlines.
About the Project
We are developing a web-based platform for Data Space that will enable more comprehensive and effective management of the data space, implementation and validation of data policies, and fulfillment of project requirements for the MOBILITY Data Space. The manager will lead a multidisciplinary team of developers, business analysts, and researchers and ensure the successful implementation of the platform in accordance with project requirements.

Skills, experience, and qualifications
Experience with EU-funded projects and knowledge of reporting and documentation requirements, as well as experience in an academic and research environment, are a plus.

The Institute for Big Data for the Intelligent Society is seeking a highly qualified technical specialist to develop a web interface for the Data Space platform.
This position is suitable for an experienced architect/programmer with in-depth knowledge of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and data management.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced software developer who thinks innovatively, takes initiative, and is ready to learn new technologies in the field of shared data platforms (Data Space). The position is suitable for a specialist with more than 5 years of experience who wishes to develop their skills in cloud and data technologies.

Data spaces are a highly innovative area that is gaining increasing popularity at both the European and regional levels as a key element of the future data-driven economy. Data spaces provide an environment that facilitates secure and trusted data exchange between participants and offer a comprehensive framework encompassing the technological, business, and organizational aspects of this exchange. The researchers will be involved in an international project in collaboration with two of the most prestigious research institutes in Europe: Norway’s SINTEF Institute and Ireland’s INSIGHT Institute. The project’s aim is to build a knowledge transfer framework between the partners and develop a visionary scientific strategy to enhance research capacity in the field of data space interoperability. The project’s outcomes will be applied to drive innovations in areas of significant social and economic importance.
Applicants for this position should have experience in the field of information technology, and knowledge and skills in semantic technologies and data sharing.
