<p>GATE platform integrates а full spectrum of different software frameworks for data management (Hadoop Distributed File System, Postgres SQL database, MongoDB NoSQL database and GraphDB semantic graph database) with industrial-strength application management software (Kubernetes, GitLab, Docker),  entirely compatible with the open source software standards. This assures smooth symbiosis between the advanced state of the art hardware and software technologies without being dependent on either of them to avoid the vendor lock-in. </p>
<p>The platform supports modern software development practices such as DevOps, DataOps and AIOps. It utilizes advanced hardware support using multiple GPUs and large data storage, which allows  to solve different tasks along the entire data lifeline cycle using а number of data processing tools. This speeds up the processing of Big Data and the utilization of AI technologies in research, innovation and commercial projects. To foster its openness and interoperability, the platform is built on open standards which makes it a   gateway to other EU infrastructures such as FIWARE, EGI, BDVA and Swedish AI Data Factory.</p>
